Situated in North West Scotland , in the southern Highlands, the spectacular and rugged region of Skye and Lochalsh displays the type of scenery for which Scotland is particularly famous. A range of walking opportunities exist in this area, from low level strolls to extreme scrambling  in the Cuillins. Whatever their level, all the walks share stunning scenery, from the picturesque Eilon Donan Castle to beautiful views across sea and mountains to the Isles of Rum, Uist and Eige.
