Caithness is the triangular area on the north eastern tip of Scotland, famous for the most northerly point on mainland UK, John O'Groats. This is essentially a flat, windswept land  with dramatic cliffs, such as those at Dunnet Head, the home to hundreds of nesting sea birds. Bracing walks along the north facing beaches are rewarded with views across to the Orkney Isles.
Currently there are no Step it Up Highland Walking Groups in this area, but if you would like to become involved in setting up a group , please contact: Partnerships for Wellbeing
